TATRAS

Almost 30% of the commune Bukowina Tatrzanska is in the Tatra National Park. It should be emphasized that its premises are: Morskie Oko, Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich, Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza, Siklawa, Rysy, Zawrat, Granaty, Zabie Szczyty, Mięguszowieckie Szczyty, Kozi Wierch, Swinica and Orla Perc. Bukowina is a place that has excellent conditions for recreation, sports mountain hiking, skiing, cycling and other sports.

Bukowina is located at an altitude of 967-1000 meters above sea level, within the Rock of Podhale, the area closest to the Tatras. In the area is a lot of pretty mountain villages, such as Poronin, Bialka Tatrzanska or Male Ciche. However, Bukowina Tatrzanska stands out among them, definitely, as a place with extremely rich tradition of folklore and phenomenal views, which can be admired here. You can see here practically the entire chain of the Tatra Mountains (in a straight line 56 km long).

Panorama of the Tatra Mountains admired from Bukowina Tatrzanska is undoubtedly breathtaking. Bukowina Tatrzanska is located on the backs of a few hills that are categorizes streams. At last, we can found here: Wierch Bundowy, Olczanski, Bachledowy, Rusinski and Glodowski.

PIENINY

Tourism in the Pieniny Mountains lasts all year round. They tempt you with their beauty, because every season they look different. In winter, covered with a white feather-blanket encourages the use of the nearby ski lifts. Abound in the spring snowdrops and Pieniny delights with its beauty. Summer is a time of intensified hiking. In autumn Pieniny shows the fullness of colors and - typical of this period - the morning mist can do the huge impression on tourists.

GORCE

Unique landscape of the massif and the location of the many mountain trails determines that Gorce is an area extremely attractive for tourists. Their location makes them offer visitors stunning views of the Podhale and several dozen kilometers away - the Tatras. Equally interesting are Beskidy (including the Babia Gora). We can find here several mountain huts, ex: on Maciejowa, on Old Wierchach and on Turbacz.

The big attraction is to provide trails for mountain cycling. The preferred shape of ridges with numerous meadows and appearing here for the ski lifts make the winter Gorce are an interesting area for ski lovers. Not without significance is the fact Gorce location at the foot of two well-known tourist destinations - Nowy Targ and Rabka.

THERMAL POOLS

In the commune Bukowina Tatrzanska we can find two geothermal swimming-pools: Terma Bukovina and Bania Tatrzanska in Bialka Tatrzanska. At a distance of 15km are Thermal Pool in Szaflary Podhalanskie and swimming pool complex in Zakopane at Antalowka.

WALKING AND CYCLING ROUTES

Walking in the Bukowina Tatrzanska are marked square with dimensions of 10x10 cm., cut diagonal divides it into two triangles. The lower triangle may have a different color (red, green, yellow, etc.) while the top is always white. The beginning of all routes is in Bukowina Tarzanska, which does not mean that the journey we must begin from here.

There are also many cycle routes. For two years goes in here mountainous stage of Tour de Pologne.

FOLKLORE and SEASONAL EVENTS

Folklore in Bucowina is extremely lively and diverse as the city is a place where three cultures: Podhale, Spiš and Roma. Throughout the country is famous local festival "Sabałowe Bajania", which promotes literature and highland dialect. It is the longest and most consistently organized event of this type in Podhale.

HORSE RIDING

At a distance of 700m from our guesthouse is located Mountain Horse Riding Centre Mr. Pietrzyk. They organize special camps and riding rides for children and adolescents.
